Lee Goldsworthy is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Discovery Alert, bringing over 15 years of experience in leading high-growth technology companies. As a seasoned tech leader, Lee specialises in scaling startups and scaleups, providing fractional CTO services to help companies implement the practices, systems, and cultures used by the world’s fastest-growing software organisations.
With expertise spanning software engineering, software infrastructure, security, privacy, delivery, and product management, Lee has played a pivotal role in driving the growth of software ecosystems from 100k to over 10 million users in under two years. He has also supported companies in raising tens of millions in early-stage technology investment, helping them secure the resources needed to expand and innovate.
Lee’s leadership extends beyond Discovery Alert, where he applies his extensive technical expertise to support its cutting-edge AI-driven platform. He has also built and scaled tech teams from 3 to over 100 engineers, ensuring the right technical talent and culture are in place for sustained growth.
Outside of Discovery Alert and his technology consultancy, Zeratul Consulting, Lee is actively involved in the tech community. He is the founder of the Perth Growth CTOs meetup and serves as the APAC co-convenor for Fractionals United, further cementing his role as a thought leader in the evolving technology landscape.
