This figure is dependent on how much drilling occurs in a year on the ASX. As a rule of thumb, the more drilling that occurs, the higher the likely hood of a discovery. We estimate on average approximately 3-6 alerts a year, this number could be higher or lower depending on ASX exploration companies success.

We focus on companies below $100mil MC as these have the highest rate of return after making a discovery.

We endeavor to send out the Discovery Alert within 30mins of the announcement being released to the market with the aim of getting it out to subscribers before market open. We run a fine line between discovery validation and speed to market, therefor sometimes this time frame can be longer in order to make sure we are confident in our interpretation. However, we always have one eye on the clock and its we’re always looking to deliver in the quickest time frame possible.

In the analyst note it will cover the reasons they called the discovery, their predictions on potential size of the discovery (if there is enough drill holes to warrant it) and things to look out for in following announcements.

Discovery Alert has an internal valuation system to estimate the potential value of a deposit at an early stage. We are looking for deposits with the geological and economic potential to meet the below criteria.
