Multiple Thick Gold Zones Confirm Bluetooth's Potential

The latest round of resampling has delivered multiple significant oxide gold intercepts, with standout results including:

    • 18m @ 3.06g/t Au from 60m in BTHRC045, within a broader 30m @ 2.05g/t Au zone
    • 13m @ 1.98g/t Au from 43m in BTHRC036
    • 12m @ 1.16g/t Au from 57m in BTHRC037
    • 8m @ 1.60g/t Au from 40m in BTHRC043 within 19m @ 0.95g/t Au from 31m
    • 7m @ 1.38g/t Au to end of hole from 89m in BTHRC039
    • 6m @ 1.82g/t Au from 66m in BTHRC046

These results build upon previously reported impressive intercepts from earlier drilling phases, which included 29m @ 1.58g/t Au, 20m @ 1.98g/t Au, and 23m @ 1.38g/t Au.

Importantly, all intercepts are interpreted to be close to true width, defining moderately east-dipping zones of oxide gold mineralisation over a strike length of at least 800m. The mineralisation broadens in a fold closure at the northern part of the prospect, creating a potentially favourable geometry for future open-pit extraction.

Fresh Rock Mineralisation Signals Depth Potential

A particularly encouraging development is the indication of mineralisation extending below the oxide profile. Hole BTHRC039 delivered 7m @ 1.38g/t Au at the end of hole in fresh rock material, suggesting the gold system continues at depth.

"It is great to see mineralisation extending down into the fresh rock profile. The overall geometry of Bluetooth looks favourable for potential open pit extraction, so we will get the RC rig back to work as soon as possible before the end of CY2025," said CEO and Managing Director Nick Castleden.

    Understanding Oxidation in Gold Projects

Gold discoveries in oxidised zones are particularly valuable in the early stages of a project's development. Oxidation occurs when surface weathering alters the original rock and mineral composition, often making gold more accessible for processing.

What is Oxidation in Gold Deposits?

Oxidation in gold deposits refers to a natural weathering process that affects rocks and minerals near the surface. When rock containing gold and sulphide minerals (commonly pyrite) is exposed to air and water over thousands of years, chemical reactions occur that break down the sulphides and often liberate the gold particles.

    The Oxide Zone Profile

A typical gold deposit may have several distinct zones:

    1. Transported Cover – Surface material moved from elsewhere by wind or water
    2. Oxide Zone – Completely weathered rock where sulphides have been broken down
    3. Transitional Zone – Partially weathered material
    4. Fresh Rock – Unweathered bedrock containing primary sulphides

    Benefits of Oxide Gold Mineralisation

Oxide gold deposits offer several advantages:

    • Higher Recovery Rates – Gold particles are typically liberated from sulphides, making them easier to recover
    • Lower Processing Costs – Oxide ore often requires simpler processing methods
    • Reduced Environmental Concerns – Fewer sulphides means less acid-generating potential
    • Open-Pit Mining Potential – Shallow depth allows for cost-effective open-pit mining

This explains why Solstice is emphasising the extensive oxide gold mineralisation at Bluetooth Gold Prospect results by Solstice Minerals Ltd, while also expressing excitement about the potential for mineralisation to continue into fresh rock at depth, which could significantly expand the project's resource potential.

    Strategic Location in Infrastructure-Rich Region

The Bluetooth Gold Prospect benefits from its strategic location in an active and infrastructure-rich part of the Eastern Goldfields. The property is close to haul roads, with two operating mills within 100km.

This advantageous position could significantly reduce future development costs, as Solstice controls over 1,600km² of highly prospective geology in the region. The company's broader Yarri Project encompasses extensive exploration landholdings in a highly-endowed greenstone setting northeast of Kalgoorlie.

"In this infrastructure-rich area, even modest scale gold mineralisation has potential to be commercialised, as underscored by the $10M sale of the Company's Hobbes tenement in 2024," noted Castleden.

    Aggressive Exploration Pipeline for 2025-2026

Solstice has outlined a busy exploration schedule for the remainder of 2025 and into 2026:

    • Phase IV RC drilling program at Bluetooth is currently in preparation
    • Continued exploration at the Edjudina Range discovery, 24km along strike from Bluetooth
    • Further work at the Statesman Well prospect
    • Follow-up on historical drill hits up to 23m @ 2.80g/t Au at newly secured exploration licenses

The company has already reported encouraging results from initial drilling at Edjudina Range, including 16m @ 1.13g/t Au in oxidised bedrock and high-grade fresh rock hits of 2m @ 11.10g/t Au and 2m @ 5.79g/t Au.

Investment Case: Why Solstice Deserves Attention

Solstice Minerals presents a compelling investment case for several reasons:

    1. Multiple near-surface gold discoveries – The company has identified broad zones of gold mineralisation with grades suitable for open-pit mining.

    2. Strategic location – Properties are situated in Australia's most prolific gold province with excellent access to infrastructure.

    3. Substantial land package – Controls over 1,600km² of highly prospective geology in the Eastern Goldfields region.

    4. Demonstrated value creation – Previous success in monetising discoveries, as shown by the $10M sale of the Hobbes tenement.

    5. Experienced leadership – Management team with track record of gold exploration success in Western Australia.

    6. Active exploration program – Multiple drilling campaigns planned across several prospective targets through 2025-2026.

The consistent results from the Bluetooth Gold Prospect, combined with promising early findings at Edjudina Range and Statesman Well, suggest Solstice is building a pipeline of potential gold resources across its extensive land holdings. With a focus on near-surface oxide gold that could be economically extracted, the company is positioning itself as an emerging player in Western Australia's gold sector.

Investors looking for gold exploration exposure in a premier mining jurisdiction should keep a close eye on Solstice Minerals as it advances its promising portfolio of Eastern Goldfields gold prospects.
