Soil sampling at Mammoth also returned up to 30 ppb Au. A separate area farther west recorded soil gold up to 24 ppb Au, with elevated arsenic at 66 ppm and mercury at 0.51 ppm directly beneath a quartz-rich silica zone.
For a surface programme that was not originally targeting gold, these are material early indicators. They do not confirm an economic deposit, but they do support further target generation ahead of drilling.
North Horseshoe Canyon Adds Scale Through Pathfinder Anomalies
North of Mammoth, OD6 outlined a second gold target area at North Horseshoe Canyon. Soil sampling returned five samples above 20 ppb Au, with a peak value of 44 ppb Au.
The soil anomaly is coincident with elevated pathfinder elements, including arsenic up to 111 ppm and mercury up to 0.91 ppm. OD6 explained that these elements are commonly associated with both epithermal gold systems and Carlin-style gold systems.
The company also highlighted the Lithocap area between North Horseshoe and Big Jim. A lithocap is a strongly altered, silica-rich cap rock that can sit above a mineralised hydrothermal system. Although this zone was not directly anomalous in surface gold, OD6 considers it prospective because the broader element pattern may point to mineralisation at depth.

The Dress Circle area, located south of Horseshoe, returned one of the broadest surface anomalies in the update. Two ridge-and-spur soil lines defined an anomaly around 400 metres by 150 metres, with soil gold above 20 ppb Au and a peak result of 77 ppb Au.
The arsenic values at Dress Circle were particularly elevated, ranging from 500 ppm to 1,650 ppm, with mercury up to 0.37 ppm. The announcement also referred to a historic skarn-related gold-silver occurrence in the area from USGS/MRDS data, while aerial imagery shows circular to arcuate structures that could be linked to an intrusion at depth or an epithermal collapse feature.
